EM Comtesse (Hilltop Cha Cha)

Cabaret1997 Hanoverian Mare, 16.3 hands
Cordoba – Weltmeyer - Golfstrom

Comtesse, affectionately known as “Cha Cha,” was shown extensively in Germany, where one of her career highlights was winning the Ratje-Nieabuhr show in Verden in 2000. Cha Cha had exceptional scores at her mare inspection with no score less than 8 and two scores of 10, and earned her States Premium Candidate status at her German inspection. She had an active competition career and was trained through the FEI levels.

In 2007, Cha Cha was retired to the breeding herd at Hilltop Farm and produced her first foal, Chiquita HTF, by Contucci. This charming filly was awarded the high scoring filly at the 2008 Hanoverian Inspection and went on to win the inaugural Foal Championship at Dressage at Devon, as well as Reserve Champion Filly and Champion USDF/GAIG East Coast Filly Final.

Not to be outdone, Cha Cha offered a brilliant showing at Devon as well. She was Reserve Champion Mare, Reserve Champion Mature Horse, Champion USDF/GAIG East Coast Mare Final, and Reserve Grand Champion! We look forward to seeing her 2nd foal, this time by Bugatti Hilltop, in 2009.
