Coeur de Reves
2008 Hanoverian gelding
Black bay, 16.1 hands
Correct conformation, good bone, and three good gaits set this gelding up for a strong performance future. Raised at Hilltop Farm since he was a weanling, Coeur de Reves is good to work with in his daily handling.
His sire Contucci is one of the leading dressage sires in the US, including USEF FEI Young Horse National Champions in 2006, 2007, & 2008 and the USEF Developing Horse National Champion in 2009. He is also the sire of El Cid, the 2009 Preliminary Amateur Champion at the American Eventing Championships. Contucci offspring typically show his beautiful type, engaging personality, and easy rideability.
The dam of Coeur de Reves is a Winnetou West-Gueldenstein daughter that is in the AHS Main Studbook. She’s been a consistent producer of athletic offspring that are enjoyed by amateur dressage and jumper riders. One of her daughters (by Landkonig) is in the Jumper Breeding Program and is now an Elite Mare with the AHS.
Coeur de Reves is an excellent choice for a dressage rider looking for a taller prospect to develop. We anticipate he'll mature at about 16.3 hands. He will attend his first breed show in August for experience and will be ready to start this winter.
Price: $11,000
