Oban RH

Oban RH, born May 16, 2024, is a stunning, bold colt with three excellent gaits and with great potential for a dressage career. He was appreciated by the judges at his July 2024 Hilltop American Hanoverian Society (AHS) inspection where they highlighted his type and energetic uphill trot.

Oban’s sire, O’Frederic (For Romance I – Riana/Fidertanz), is a young up and coming stallion with a special pedigree including 5 stallions who competed at Grand Prix. At his KWPN Stallion Performance Test in 2022. O’Frederic earned scores of 9 for walk and rideability. Additional highlights included 8.5’s for canter and talent as dressage horse, and scores of 8 for trot and elasticity. O’Frederic is an impressive stallion who is very focused on his rider and has a very good attitude. The first foal crop of O’Frederic has been well received in both Holland and the US.

Evelina MDH (Everdale- Pinta/Prado), the dam of Oban RH, won the Maiden Mares class at Dressage at Devon in 2022 and was awarded Premium Candidate mare by the AHS.. Evelina’s sire Everdale is well-known as an Olympic & European Medalist under Lottie Fry and is also highly regarded for siring a number of Grand Prix horses including Imhotep who competed at the World Equestrian Games. He’s proving a top sire for the Grand Prix and this year at the Dressage at Devon CDI the top 2 finishers for both the GP and Special were sired by Everdale. The damline of Evelina MDH is also impressive as the granddam has produced 2 approved stallions, 3 SPS mares (including Evelinas dam), and 2 FEl horses and a 1/2 sister to Evelinas dam has produced 3 approved stallions & 3 FEl horses. Evelina’s had two top foals and will now return to her own dressage training for future development in sport.
